"You were able to take the things I knew I needed to elevate in my brand and perfectly bring them to life visually in a creative & fun way."
My brand was tired and I knew I needed to refresh it, but I didn’t fully know what I wanted to do.
I was stuck in my head about how to complete a brand refresh while keeping the things that I love and changing the areas that needed it.
Jess's audience gravitates towards people who are casual and fun, but need a wedding planner that was also detail oriented and able to pull off a completely unique, memorable wedding experience. They love the outdoors and want to show off their adventurous spirits in a non-flashy way. Because of this, we needed to create a brand that was elevated, showed Jess's experience, and also highlighted her fun, unique personality.
I loved your ability to look at my existing brand and move it forward with your design concepts. It was a breathe of fresh air for myself, my co. & my brand every time we chatted!
Based on the strategy, we updated her color palette from muted and monotone to whimsical and high-contrasting to highlight her confident individuality. We gave her a modern yet adventurous font suite and a graphic style that matched the Yosemite, outdoorsy vibe.
I liked working in Trello! It was my first time working in that software, and I really liked how you were able to categorize items as well as label the expected delivery time. It took the guessing out of when collateral items would be received and really made the whole process enjoyable.
Once we determined the graphic style in our brand strategy, I came up with some graphics that went along with the adventure wedding theme. This included things like a "Just Married Jeep," a "Growler Clink" and a "Diamond in the Woods," illustration. We put her logo's arrow in many of the graphics to connect her logo with the graphics and create a more cohesive experience. Then we implemented them in her website creative direction guide and social media templates.
"It’s amazing having someone like you in my corner that I know can help me bring the visual ideas in my head to life."
I would tell them that it is an investment in their future and the visual presence that they show the world.
How can you put a price tag on that?
